A Bedroom with a View

Living in Gig harbor is a true gift. I absolutely love it…. and I love my house. But……. my house, as nice as it is, doesn’t have a water view. I couldn’t help but drool a little when this property came up on the NWMLS today. This is the view from the master bedroom. If I’m being totally honest, I would love to have a view of the sound just like this. Now comes the reality check. Can we afford it? Would it be our forever home? Would we be willing to sacrifice size in order to have a view like this? We couldn’t afford to have it all. As retirement starts to become something on the radar ( 5+ years from now) for my husband and I , we are kind of re evaluating how we want to spend our time both at home and work. The conversation is in the very early stages ( my husband doesn’t like change), but , it has begun.
